When we say Occitan cuisine and the specialities of the Aude, do you just think of cassoulet? Then there are the olives, goat’s cheese, seafood and shellfish, winter truffles, oysters from Gruissan and Leucate, wild asparagus in spring and so much more. Wild boar stews in winter, sardinades in summer, olive tapenade.
As we’re all keen to eat locally, we offer these fresh, high-quality products for breakfast and dinner (table d’hôtes available on request and by prior arrangement).
Some of our favourites
La Bonne Excuse – Narbonne
This restaurant offers a semi-gastronomic menu. A very good experience, well-decorated and well-presented dishes, a friendly welcome, open on Monday evenings (rather rare in Narbonne). The only downside is that the wait can be a bit long. More information
Ecailler Gourmet – Narbonne
For fish lovers! Great fresh produce, a warm welcome and friendly service, a real treat. More information
Relais Chantovent – Minerve
Beautiful dining room and terrace with breathtaking views of the Gorges du Brian. Nicolas creates and presents his dishes with great taste and technique. They offer a warm welcome and an excellent wine list. A superb address that is definitely in our top 3. More information
Chez Bebelle aux Halles de Narbonne et Maison Bebelle – Narbonne
It’s a phenomenon not to be missed when you go to Les Halles de Narbonne, the meeting place of the rugby world. Gilles orders meat through a megaphone to his butchers, picking up packets of meat thrown in like a good rugby fullback. Meat on the grill, chips (a little too brown for us Belgians 😊), salad, homemade desserts. Worth the trip just for the show, honest and friendly cuisine. La Maison Bebelle is located opposite Les Halles de Narbonne. More information
